The Vaporesso Degree Pod Device Kit features the intelligent AXON chipset, providing users with a convenient and smart vaping experience. The AXON chipset offers Pulse Mode, quick charging capabilities, a low e-liquid alert, and dry hit prevention.

The Degree Pod Device automatically adjusts the chipset based on the cartridge installed. The cartridge is housed inside the device body, and the cartridge cover utilizes a magnetic connection. The push-to-fill refilling method is convenient and easy. 

This device features a 950mAh rechargeable internal battery. It is charged via micro USB. The cartridges feature a 2mL e-juice capacity.

This device is compatible with the Vaporesso Degree Replacement Cartridges.

Vaporesso Degree Review

Vaporesso has been busy over the past few years, from their prolific CCELL coils to the Podstick, Vaporesso has made its name well known with their affordable products. It comes as no surprise that they would want to get into the high-end pod game as well, so I was more than happy to get my hands on the new Vaporesso Degree for a review.

From adjustable wattage and a long-lasting internal battery to its chic modern design, the Vaporesso Degree has a bunch of fantastic features that make it a great device. 

The Looks

The Degree gets an A+ from me in the looks department, I love any device that can blend a classy stainless steel look with unique resin highlights. The shape of the design is basically rectangular with beveled edges for a more ergonomic grip. Battery venting holes are cut into the bottom of the device as well as a little attachment point towards the top that’s cut out for lanyards.

There’s even a nice little V logo cut out of the removable back panel so you can view your juice level inside the pod. It’s a sleek design that perfectly blends the aspects of high-end pod kits with colorful highlights. On the face side of the device, there’s a crisp OLED screen with two settings adjustment buttons and a large fire button up top. 

How it Works   

As far as functionality goes I was fairly impressed by how well the Degree performs in most aspects. The flavor production is top-notch for a pod device, I’d even put the 0.6Ω coil on par with some of the more MTL style vape pens, making it a pretty viable option for vapers looking for a compact but effective device. The wattage ranges from 5W up to 30W and it comes packed with a 950mAh battery for all-day vaping power. 

It feels like a solid device and definitely carries some weight to it which is the hallmark of a durable and high-quality pod. There’s an airflow adjustment ring on the drip tip that does allow for some versatility in your draw strength. Charging from a dead battery to full strength takes about 1 to 1.5 hours and it lasts around 1 to 2 days depending on your usage. Don’t even get me started on how great the proprietary push-to-fill system is, just slam a nic salt bottle in the top nozzle and squeeze to fill the pod, its seriously that easy.  

The Verdict  

I really enjoyed using the Degree, as far as the higher end pod devices go I think the Vaporesso Degree should be a solid buy. The flavor is good, the coils last long, and its a very good looking design. It may not come with a DNA chip, but with Vaporesso’s signature AXON chipset inside you don’t need it!
